Hi Guys! Well it has been some time since my last post, and what have I been up to? Well, of course, the real big news is that we have welcomed a new member to the family – cutie pie little Lois! So apart from being absolutely exhausted, we have also been doing a bit of refurbishment at the cookery school. Newborn + Renovations = absolute MAYHEM!! I would never, ever recommend it – but have to say the end result was well worth it!
So, drumroll please…. the cookery school will officially be reopening in the new year, with some fantastic, fun classes aimed at adults and children. Wahey! But before I get into that, I am really, really excited to announce that I will be running the vintage pop-up café for a second year in row at the Ladies Who Love to Shop event next month on November 4th. I have to say, this is such a great event, and the crowd never disappoints. The event is run by the lovely Mon Amie women, and there is always such an amazing mix of stallholders, and seeing as it’s the run up to the Christmas (yes, that’s right, I mentioned the dreaded ‘C’ word!), it’s the perfect time to pack in some festive pressie shopping. I will be serving up all sorts of delicious, indulgent sweet treats – Salted Caramel Brownies anyone? How about Apple Toffee Cake? Or Prosecco Cupcakes? That’s right, your heard me! PROSECCO CUPCAKES!! I just can’t wait!
At the event, I will be sharing all the details about my new classes at the cookery school – which will officially kick off in the new year. So if you do stop by the café, and I hope you do, be sure to pick up a flyer, which will have all the details regarding classes, dates and how to book.
Anyway, that is it from me for now, and I hope to see many of you at the Ladies Who Love to Shop event next month, it’s definitely one not to be missed!
